Indiana Durable General Power of Attorney – $65

A Durable General Power of Attorney is usually used to allow your attorney-in-fact to handle all of your affairs during a period of time when you are unable to do so. This could be when you are traveling out of the country or when you are physically or mentally unable to handle your affairs.

This Indiana Durable General Power of Attorney, for use by a principal over the age of 18 and residing in the state of Indiana, will allow you to appoint an attorney-in-fact with the powers and authority to do or conduct the following on your behalf:

  • Transaction relating to securities owned by you.
  • Banking transactions.
  • Business transactions, including contracts.
  • Insurance transactions
  • Beneficiary transactions
  • Make gifts
  • Exercise stock holder rights

  • Any other tasks that you may require.

A Durable General Power of Attorney is frequently included as part of an estate plan to make sure that you have covered the possibility that you might need someone to handle your financial affairs if you are unable to do so.
